Date Night!

Friday night we had a blast with the Faiai's- it was Riley's 2nd birthday!! There was a bit of swimming, lots of eating, dancing, piggy back riding and laughing!! It makes me feel good that I could be a part of such a happy night for the boys.
Saturday night Chris and I FINALLY had a date night - just the two of us! We went to eat Mexican food, went home to "digest", then at 9:20 we left for the movies. "Wanted" was a good movie, some parts of it were a little cheesy, but it was date night - who cares?!
Sunday we had softball practice and it was so sweet to see everyone again- those that showed up. I'm really excited about this season! Mark and Tara (Breklen's parents) came over for a bit Sunday night after practice - I believe Mark might help Chris think about building this silly deck we've been wanting! I got to play with B some. Then we all went to dinner at Pizza Inn (cheesey I know, but I was really craving pizza and pizzert!). And as I layed down last night, I realize how good of a weekend we had! We got to spend time together AND see our friends, did some fun stuff AND got to relax. It was a weekend jam packed with nothing and everything we love.
And based on brief conversations we've had and I've overheard him talking - I think he's becoming more excited about having a kid!
