Tha WeeKeNd!

Nothing interesting.... just a Gholson kind of weekend!
Friday - I had a strange craving for seafood... more specifically - Shrimps!! So... I told Chris, here are your options for dinner: Kemps, Red Lobster or Quidoba (not sure... maybe was craving fast Mexican too?!). Kemps it was... we called the Baranski's and all met at Kemps. I got popcorn cajun shrimp that was really good. And somehow my fat @$$ ended up with: side of veggies, french fries, cole slaw and hush puppies! Of course I didn't eat it all, are you crazy!? Then we followed the 'rents back to their house. Mom and I did some online window shopping while Chris and David formed a band... a Rock Band!
Saturday - my poor hubby had to get up at 8 and go back out to the Marriott to help his Forman cut the water back on after fixing a leak. Not sure if everyone knows or not... but Chris was officially moved to the office last week! He's got business cards and khaki's on! He's work so hard for this, I hope he's not disappointed! I slept until he woke me up when he got home at 10:30. We did some house cleaning and errand running.... Mark and Tara came over, we all went to Moe's for dinner, then to see the new Will Ferrell movie: Step Brothers. You've really got to be a Will Ferrell fan (which I am) to enjoy this movie. I haven't belly laughing like that in the theater in AWHILE! I think it's safe to say we all loved it!
Sunday - we started the day with chores. And yes, I consider making pancakes and bacon for my hubby a chore - even though I loved doing it! Then we had softball practice from 2-4. We were all told to meet at Carolina Pines... and of course at 1:40 we're struggling to get in touch with everyone to tell them practice is at Jaycee Park- way to go hubby! So we all meet there about 10 after 2 and have a good practice! (Here's my girly side) I think I got some good sun and possibly lost a few ounces - I sweat a lot! Oh, and I learned something about myself and not sure when it happened - I hit strictly to the right side now... I guess I'm OK with that! I think we're going to have a really strong team this season, I can't wait for it to start! EXCEPT I MISSED MY TWO GIRLS :( WITH CHRISTIAN IN BAMA AND LAUREN BEING HOUSE MOM FOR A DAY - I WAS LONELY! I HAD NO ONE TO BE SILLY WITH AND JOKE WITH AND BE GIRLY WITH!
Other than that, it was a pretty relaxing, fun weekend!
Chris leaves either Wednesday night or Thursday really early for his Managers Meeting in Richmond. He'll be back Friday night.
