My May Momento

I haven't posted in nearly a month and my how things change! The days get warmer, clothes get shorter and weekends get filled pretty fast. I'm excited to know that summer's approaching and we're going to be one busy family!

I feel a summer full of Timmy, cookouts, spending evenings on the deck with good friends, drinking a cold drink.... the smell of fresh cut grass and smokey burgers.... a few trips to the beach and possibly a sunburn or two..... and it's quite possible we'll have another few games of paintball whlie the boy's here.

So pretty much I'm happy where I am and excited about where we're going! The future holds all the answers, but we need to enjoy now in order to make it there.

We have a cookout toinght for Mrs. Tara's birthday tonight. Before that Chris and I have lunch with my parents, then I'm going to check on a friend.

Next weekend is Memorial Day. Mom's having a cookout with EVERYONE under the sun invited. A slip and slide for the kids and volleyball for the adults. If you know how to wear a pair of sun glasses, a large grin, drink a beer and relax: you're invited!!!

Then the following weekend, we're going to Myrtle Beach for our birthdays!! We leave Friday around lunch time and will be back Sunday.

The first weekend in June I'm going up to B-More to help one of my girlfrineds celebrate her engagement. Exciting because I've never been and I can't wait to see my Christina :)

This gets us through May, hopefully I'll have time to post again soon, but if not, you can see why. When I was little my Dad would make a calendar of my summer and call it "Kelly's Butterfly Calendar" becuase I kept them busy!!

Other than all the busy weekends, work is keeping me super busy - but I can't complain. That means I still have a job and it makes my days go by faster.

Mom and Dad both were laid off and neither of them are employed again. Both are still looking pretty hard for anyone that will take them right now.

I think that's about all the news I can think of!
