Back to being a Girly TomBoy!!

Well, there are many things I enjoy about being a girly-girl! I enjoy wearing the color pink, and am proud about my girly frilly stuff.I LOVE all my purses (different shapes, sizes and colors) and all my “ugly” (as Chris calls them) heels. From my comfy sexy oriental looking shoes, all the way to my 3” silver heels down to my 2 year old rainbows!
I take pride in all the jewelry I have, most of which I never wear – BUT just in case, I have those ugly brown ear rings that look GREAT with that ONE outfit and would be hideous with anything else. I have a beautiful pink and sliver Guess watch, that I haven’t worn in years simply because the battery’s dead and I’m too lazy (and currently too broke) to get it replaced.
Now, let’s take all of the above and mix it with my week last week – then you’ll see why I’ve decided to [even if temporarily] resort back to my Semi-Tomboy ways!!
Last week my husband and I enjoyed a 4 night stay in Vegas! It was my anniversary present for my loving wonderfully supportive, sexi, manly man of a husband! First, we were upgraded to a “panoramic” view hotel room – how cool?! Our first complete day there, we decided we’d walk the strip and see some things, walk some casino’s and just explore. You’ll be happy to know I didn’t complain once! Those of you who are familiar with the area, we were staying at TI and walked all the way down to (and don’t forget around IN) New York, New York. Fortunately we discovered the $5 24 hour bus hook-up!!By the time we made it back to the hotel, we were pooped. So we decided to stay in the hotel casino that night. It was this FABULOUS time that we came up with the BRILLIANT idea to go to a show. We decided on Zumanity, which was all the way back at New York New York. I thought it would be appropriate to dress nice for this since it was the first “big” even we were doing. Now granted my feet were sore and tired from a day of walking before hand – but girls NEVER put on 3” uncomfortable heels, no matter how adorable and cute they are and make you feel, if your feet are already sore and you have a ways to walk! And my wonderful husband…. He told me not to wear those shoes! “It’s really going to bother me that you’re wearing those and your feet already hurt!” Well, I did, and they do, and I have a blister the size of NV under my pinky toe and it hurts!
THIS is why I stuck with my rainbows and tennis shoes the remainder of our trip!!

P.S. I’ve never seen so many slutty girls in my life! No wonder my X BFF loves it there so much!!

Oh NO!!! I'm sorry about your Nevada sized blister!! Sometimes being sexy is painful, I guess! I think Chris is the luckiest man alive. He has an amazing wife! Glad you guys had fun!

hahaha- I feel your pain. The key is to carry a large purse and hide a nice comfy pair of flipflops in there so you can throw them on for walking. And those silver shoes really are way too cute not to wear as often as possible.
